in the login_body.tpl file for your template there should be code similar to this...

now your code will have something that make the checkbox auto checked such as <input type="checkbox" name="autologin" checked /> or <input type="checkbox" name="autologin" {AUTO_CHECKED}/>

just delete the bit that syas checked and all should be right in the world

Thanks for that . . I had looked at that file but was not wholly sure what I shoud do with it . .

I shall also mwntion that you need to edit index_body.tpl as there is the log in at the bottom of that page too. . .

Done and tested - and working fine..
