What config file holds default theme info?

Post by Stylee » Tue Dec 30, 2003 4:24 pm

I have locked myself out of the forum by switching to a bad theme. I set it as the default and now cannot log into forum.

I need to get into my FTP and change the variable in the file.
What file do I need to edit to change the default theme of the forum?

Those things are stored in the database. You need something like phpMyAdmin (if you use MySQL) to access your database. Then simply do following queries to switch back to subSilver:

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_config SET config_value = "1" WHERE config_name = "default_style";
UPDATE phpbb_config SET config_value = "1" WHERE config_name = "override_user_style";
:-)

hmmm, well I think that there is a bit more confused with the forums than that. It turns oput that the entire database for this forum was copied, so there are "leftovers" still there.

I ended up seting the variables as u had posted, and then changing the # of the theme that I wanted as the default...

Thanx for the help m8
