SQL Crash???

Post by Nautilus_Xtrem!! » Fri Mar 12, 2004 4:54 am

I'm getting this error when I try to go to my forums, and my SQL databases are missing......
Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/deada/public_html/xtrem/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/deada/public_html/xtrem/db/mysql4.php on line 330

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/deada/public_html/xtrem/db/mysql4.php on line 331
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Is this bad????

Yep, that's probably not a good thing.

Is your forum quite busy? That would explain the 'too many connections' message.

I doubt that your databases are missing. That is probably a hosting company issue. give it a little time to clear up and then contact your hosting company if it doesn't

Ok I gues it kinda fixed itself????? because its fine now and I didn't do anything. This has happened once before. Any idea on what the deal is would be appreciated.

like I said, a hosting company issue, when it goes down with database errors and then comes back, it means that your host was doing something with the servers.
