Hiding from users

Post by sidewinder » Tue Apr 13, 2004 2:06 pm

hi,
I want to make a navbar that only shows up when you are in a certain usergroup. Is it possible for me to do so?

For example:

http://forums.XEclan.co.uk/

I want to make it so that the "Sub Nav" only shows up when you are logged in and are in the usergroup called "Clan Members". And also so that if you try to go to this page by typing in the url and are not in this usergroup it wont let you.

Is it possible to do this? and if so how would i go about it? Thanks

-Kev

Try http://www.phpbbhacks.com

I haven't heard of such a thing though but it must be possible because you have the links for admins (or even that other mods use).
