double-quotes in subject show up as...

Post by chris_blessing »

&quo

I know this is the HTML special character entity (aka "e;) but for some reason it's being parsed twice I presume (instead of being escaped?) in the subject line of my forum posts.

It only occurs after the first double-quote in the subject line. So take this subject for example:

This is a "test" subject

It will show up as:

This is a "test&quo

I did a search and found nothing related to this, except for one post from a while back which displayed this same behavior (in the search results none the less).

Any ideas here before I go hunting in the code?

thx!

wtf mate?

It seems to be working fine for me now too! I swear I didn't change a thing... that is most definitely odd.

Well, if it comes up again I'll bump this thread but for now thanks for checking it out. :?
