Could not insert data into users table

Hello peoples,

First off i would like to say thankyou very much to the phpbb crew for the free forum it's awesome.
I have currently upgraded to phpbb 2.0.0 , and everything went excellent except that no new users can register, and no users can use there sigs (avatars) they get this (Could not insert data into users table) upon trying to create there user name and upload sigs. any ideas? and i hope this is the right place to post this. ty

I installed phpbb 2.0.1
this is what happened got a bunch of errors about the table, i logged into the forum and nothing had changed, cept all the times and dates when people posted. hrmmmm any ideas?
