Notify all users about new topic

Notify all users about new topic

How can I make it so, then every registred user (or user, checked any box at his profile) got notify about every new topic at forum?

it is already an option, every user can check a box to "watch this topic" and they will get notified of posts to that topic.

I wonder if he's looking for the same answer that I am. It's not a reply to an existing topic that I want email notification of, it's ANY NEW TOPIC in a category. I need to know how to do this also....

This specifically would require a MOD. Try Searching the Forums, looking for it in the MODs Database, or if you can't find it in either of those, try asking over in MOD Requests :wink:

I've done all that, but no response... Does anyone have any insight into how hard it would be to make this happen? I have some php skills so if it's not too hard, I might be able to hack it together..
