Is there a way to do a mass forum permissions so I dont have to go through each forum and set the same permissions.

There's no built-in way, but you could edit the database. Use phpMyAdmin to log on, copy the query that is used to create the original forum (with the permission set you want), the just run the query changing the forum name you want each time.
