Yes, that's right. You can use phpmyadmin (the easiest way to do it since phpBB isn't up yet.) As for the cookie or http method, open phpmyadmin's config.inc.php file and configure it appropriately. All variables are highly commented so it is pretty self-explanatory. :)

OK I see them now but I think I've found my hacker anyway... I'm starting a new forum, only telling my close friends. I'll ban the guy who did it... Apparently he's hacked 3 of my friends' forums as well.
