Can you please specify the changes you wish to make? That was I can tell you exactly how to do it.

ok let me be more specific...the quote box is too wide...I want to change the width....and when someone quotes something...the text within the quoted area is dark grey and you can hardly read it. So i would like to change the color of the quoted text.

Yes, just open templates/your template name/bbcoe.tpl
Find and change this
<!-- BEGIN quote_username_open --></span>
<table width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0" align="center">

and this
<span class="genmed"><b>{USERNAME} {L_WROTE}:</b></span>

Just change the italicized portions. :)

No, genmed is the size. But you could add a <font> tag or other formatting around that if you wished.

This would actually be the correct way:

Code: Select all

<span class="genmed" stye="color: #ffffff" ><b>{USERNAME} {L_WROTE}:</b></span>

The font color is still grey... here is a link for you to see what I mean.

You're using a different style.
Open templates/your template name/overall_header.tpl
Find and change:

Code: Select all

.quote {
	font-family: tahoma; font-size: 12px; color: #C0C0C0; line-height: 125%;
	background-color: #6C0505; border: #4b4848; border-style: solid;
	border-left-width: 1px; border-top-width: 1px; border-right-width: 1px; border-bottom-width: 1px
}
Change the color: part.
