It seems that the {ADMIN_LINK} in overall_footer includes "<br /><br />". Instead, "<br /><br />" should be specified in the template and not as part of the link. This prevents me from certain templates because I cannot remove the <br /><br /> that is included in {ADMIN_LINK}
I think I understand the reasoning behind this now. The admin link is only displayed for admins... so by putting the two "br"s in the template file, the "br"s would always be displayed even if the admin link wasn't. By adding the "br"s to the link it is only displayed when the link is available. A minor issue.
