Visual Confirmation Does Not Work

Post by ErnieTheMilk »

In Admin Panel when the Visual Confirmation option is activated for users entering a code defined by an image when registering this does not show.

Can anyone shed any light as to why not!?!

It looks like you haven't uploaded the includes/usercp_confirm.php file :)

On this subject, is there a way to limit the generated string so that it does not contain look-alike characters, such zero and O?

zero is already differentiated from O by having a diagonal line through it. You could get rid of some characters if you wanted to, but if a user is having difficulty working out what the code says then they can just refresh the page to get a different one.

OK, thanks.
My father (who is the coordinator of our entire web project) mentioned the visual confirmation's characters as a concern, so I wanted to see if I could do anything to make it easier.

Hello, I'm having the same problem, except, I've checked and usercp_confirm.php is indeed uploaded.

I get a red X when people try to register?
