Changing Field Names On Forms

Post by 4n6guy »

SPECIFICALLY, I am looking to change the field labels on the signup form... and I need to make them REQUIRED fields...

I have searched the forum as usual, but cannot find the answer... anyone point me in the right direction?

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!

You can change the field names by accessing the language files, such as /language/lang_english/lang_main.php. Virtually all text displayed as prompts and labels will be found in the language files.

As for making things required, that takes modifying the registration code. I'd drop by phpbbhacks.com, and find the "real names" MOD; it's useful in its own right, and shows you how to make fields required.
