A wishlist field

I want to add a 'wishlist' field, but a wishlist URL is too long therefore the view profile page will look messed up. Is there anway you can cut off the link to look like this http://www.amazon.com/gp/r....... instead of this http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/re
istry.html/002-1743893-2064834?%5Fencoding=UTF8&id=3DCOLG4T7ST8Z

I have created a mod that allows you to add wishlists to your profile but the phpbb team hasn't checked it yet. I sent it at least two months ago though...

But i'm too lzay to inatall it. Is there I could let phpbb cut of the url ?

In my MOD I use pictures as buttons that link directly to that user's wishlist. If it's an amazon wishlist then it uses an amazon button. Basically all you need is right there. Bt if you're too lazy to install the MOD then that's your decision and not mine.

If this was a feature of 'vanilla' phpBB then there wouldn't be the need for the MOD though

I'm sorry, but apparently I deleted the file a while back. I am also sorry to inform you that I won't be able to rewrite a new file because I no longer run phpBB2 on my site, I've moved to phpBB3. With phpBB3 you can add profile fields much more easily and a mod like this is no longer necessary.
