Im wondering what sessions does PHP send to the computer. Like the user name user id etc. As im trying to work on a piece of coding that fetches the session uses the info inside like the user_id and searches the database for that id and echos the username and a few other things.

If i could get a list of them id be happy :)

The KB contains some useful articles about sessions. I would advise you to take a look at them.

If you mean in phpBB, then all the cookie stores is your Session ID, and your username, password and a Logged In variable I believe.

Altho this cookie is read and then you get the array $userdata[] which stores ALOT of info. This one utilizes almost everything phpbb_sessions, phpbb_users so you can get the info. Quite useful.
