Looping back to index when clicking on admin panel

Hi, I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but i just upgraded from 2.0.15 to 2.0.16 via the "Changed files" path and now, when I login as administrator to my forums, I get problems when trying to access the Administrator Control Panel at the bottom of the forums.

When i click on it, i get sent back to the index of the forums, but i am logged in as administrator. Just that I can't get into my control panel.

The link on the admin panel looks right:

I've tried to update it 3 times and each time it says I am successful.

Anyone have any ideas?

seems
its not storing cookies
check ur cookies settings and board cookie settings thru phpmyAdmin

I just had a look and all my cookies settings seem intact on phpmyadmin.

Cookie domain: (empty)
Cookie name: phpbb2mysql
Cookie path:/
cookie secure: 0
Session length: 3600

anyone have another solution?
