Hi all,

I have a win2k3 machine SP1
Installed MySQL 4.1.12a Admin works fine

Stopped the website, created wwwphp and installed from msi
Read and followed the manual install created during msi
Got all from www.phpbb.com

Below are the erors and php.ini. What the heck did I miss... Thnx up front!!!

I ran the MSI from created c:\php\*.*
Didn't ask anything about database
Pushed iis to wwwphp as new site, stopped old site

running php.exe I get the following errors:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'c:\php\ext\php_exif.d
ll' - The specified module could not be found.
in Unknown on line 0

The current release of phpBB doesn't support PHP5, no?

It can be made to work, although it's not supported.

Those errors however are reflecting a problem in the php setup to mysql. The answer would best be found on the php or mysql site

You must first get php and mysql setup correctly before you can install phpbb. Check php.net for how to do that

Though I may have had issues running phpBB2, MySQL4, Apache2 and PHP5; I can say that phpBB2 does work with PHP5 using the MS Access database. So though not supported, there wasn't any tweaking done to get it to work on my end.
