How can I change logo on left (Phpbb creating communities logo?)

also howcome phpbb doesnt have many features like invision? or can I add more features? & where do I add stuff like that?

also how can I add benners to the forum?

Because phpBB2 Is NOT Invision, also YES you can make your own features by creating your own phpBB2 modifications.

1.The first way is by changing the path of the logo. Upload your logo to templates/subSilver/images and call it logo.gif or something like that. Then, look (near the end of the document) for:

<td><a href="{U_INDEX}"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif" border="0" alt="{L_INDEX}" vspace="1" /></a></td>

Simply change the bit highlighted in red to the path of your own logo. Easy or what??

The second way to change the logo is even easier. Just overwrite logo_phpbb.gif with your own logo and upload it to templates/subSilver/images and call it logo_phpbb.gif.

3.There are a couple banner management mods, though you can also just add the html to templates/subsilver/overall_header.tpl and overall_footer.tpl

If you wait for phpBB3, it has a lot more features. Invision may have more features but there are a lot of fallbacks compared to phpBB.

im running phpBB 2.0.16, will I be able to get phpBB 2.0.17 for Cpanel?

When is phpbb3 coming out? any ideas of features that will include?
