memberlist access

Post by cooky »

Hi

I have removed the link to the memberlist from the top of the page in my forum but you can still accaess it by typing

www.myforum.com/phpBB2/memberlist.php

Is there a way of disabling that access. maybe by adding something to it?

I have added a mod that has put a user list in my ACP so no-one needs to access that address at all.

As a far as I know, you will still be able to access the members list in your administrator panel. Would this not be convenient to you? You can also add several user management MODs for an easier ease of use from the ACP.

I did say in the first post that I have a mod installed that allows me access through the control panel, I just need a "fix" to prevent guests and registered users accesing it.

I am really sorry I did not notice this part, kindly excuse me.

If you follow the link given above it will ensure that your memberlist.php is disabled and no users can have access to it even after typing the name. Mtx Code

But won't members still be able to access it, as the title says

"How to hide memberlist from users that are not logged in?"

Dosen't that mean logged in members will be able to access it

To stop everyone then just delete memberlist.php.
