Server Clock and 'Flood'

Post by The Founder »

ok this is the problem... The Server clock was off by a bit... like 18 hours...

I reset it back to where it belongs... then next thing I know.. all 2000 of my members could not post... kept saying it was a flood issue..

"you cannot make a post so soon after another post.. try again shortly"

Well I didn't know what to do... so I moved the system clock to 1 month ahead (I know stupid move)

Now everyone can post... but I need to correct this asap.

How can I sync the system clock right and disable the 'flood' protection... It is already set to zero...

If I change the date back to where it should be.. anyone that posted in the past few hours (at least 100 people) will not be able to post for 1 month.

I just need to disable the flood problem.
