you need a webhost which supports php and mysql. You ten need to upload the forum foldertoo the webhost, more then likely using ftp. Once it is on your webhost, you browse to the /install/install.php and then follow the instructions step by step t set up the forums. To be honest if you are lost with this then i think you need to do some serious reading up on running a website before having a go!

I did it the easy way, but it costs A$30 per year. That's for the webshosting. The phpBB forum set up a was a piece of cake. A little installer that comes free with the hosting, asks for a username and password, and then sets it all up for me :D

I didn't even have to download phpBB. It did it all for me, without me even knowing what was happening. Now I am slowly learning all about it, but more out of interest than anything else.
