Moving to a new server

Moving to a new server

Im moving my HEAVILLY MODDED forum to a new server...

But in my new server i just want the posts topics categorys and members there 'not' the mods...

How can i do this...

Can someone pleasee explain or show me a tutorial...

Also when i backup my database using phpBBMyAdmin it doesnt back up the members or posts for some reason :? ...

first, the MODs are not in the database other than a few extra tables you mya have. you can delete those tables or not, it won't really matter.


then, if you are not getting the full backup, then either you are not checking all the tables, or the server is timing out for some reason.

here is a tutorial I wrote about how to use phpmyadmin to get the correct backup for phpbb.
