AdInfinitum adds a white box behind avatars. Its part of the template design. Visit Mike Lothar's site (the author of AdInfinitum) to find how to change it

I've been looking around his site and don't see anywhere that mentions fixing this :(

i'm sorry, does anyone have an idea of what i can alter in the template? there doesn't seem to be an area to ask this guy on his site, but he does say he doesn't mind people altering his template. i just want my avatars to show up normal or it's going to annoy members once they join :(

There is a support site Here but it requires a small (and very good value IMO) subscription.
Check your PMs :wink:

in the css file, find this:

Code: Select all

/*
.avatar img {
	background-color: #fff;
	border: 3px solid #fff}

html>body .avatar img {
	padding: 3px;
	background-color: #fff;
	border: 1px solid #dbdbdb}
*/
edit it or delete it or whatever. see if that helps.
