help with big dump

help with big dump

hey all lamebrain here trying to figure out this big dump stuff
so i have a db back up and i can also access myphpadmin to make a downloadable db file. the instructions on bigdump aren't laymen friendly
i get the message about the config and no database selected

is there anybody who can simplify the bigdump procedure or point me to a site that better explains what exactly i need to do to make it work?

as always any help would as tony the tiger would say
