I have encounterd an error please help

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open unter template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 361
File : functions.php

Now this just started happening yesterday, do i need to replace that file? or what does anyone know?

i really am completely unfamilur with this system ive never used it before, the guy that used to run it is afk..

Is there any particular reason why you are completely ignoring Marshalrusty and Black Fluffy Lion? You won't be able to do much in the admin panel with that error you posted.

no not at all, i have tried what they have said to do but i come to a black page, that has no links but the top ones...

what they have said has helpd a ton, gotten me alot further but still is not working, should i try something else?

i did the fix 1 brought me to a black page with icons, but only links i could use were on the top

fix 2 is confusing for me, i dont know how to do it...

i renamed the .cfg file from subSilver.cfg to unter.cfg (what the file was looking for and now i get the black screen, at the link http://forums.untergang.net/admin/admin_board.php

That is because you are refusing to follow the directions. Simply refusing.

The KB article wrote: Automated Fix A

-Recommended- This Fix will create a new theme based on your subSilver files. It will set the new theme as your default theme and override any user's styles. For this script to work properly, you should ensure that your subSilver files are in good order (i.e. The reason you got an error wasn't because you were editing subSilver files). If modifying the subSilver files caused the problem, upload the entire subSilver directory onto your server in /templates/ overwriting all existing files.

Download the Fix here. Extract the file to your phpBB root directory and run once. Delete the file from your server immediately after running the file.

just download the full package.. It is the only one under the tempales directory
