Post by wouta »

Hi,

I have a website where poeple can search on my website. But i want also make it possible that users can search on my forum when ty on my website. So i most first go to my own file searchsite.php to check if the user like to search on the website or on the forum. Then if the user like to search on the forum then i make a redirect to location of the forum. Like:
http://www.domein.nl/forum/search.php?m ... ults=posts

But this dont work! I give some results but i dont know what he find...
Is there soneone who know how i can fix this ?

What exactly doesn't work about it? The URL looks correct to me.

When you try to search whit this string url: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/search.php?m ... ults=posts you will get 36236 results and the found topics will show as posts. But in the url i say show_results=posts.

But when i do a search on this forum whit using the searh form. Clicking on search en type test as search keyword, then i get 24961 results. The search results wil be displayed as topics.

So my qeustion is now why can't i show results in topics when i using the url above and why find the url more results ?

I hope i have explame the problem clear.Sorry for my bad english....
