Is there anything needed to be done when creating and installing rank icons???

not really,

you put the rank images in the desired file map example /images/ranks/(name image rank)
Than you go to your adminstration panel, to the bodem than choise ranks.
En you edit the desired rank , en put the image descreption on image path.
Example: /images/rank/descreption.(gif, jpeg,etc)

Thank you guys, My Problem was I put it as "/images/ranks/imagename.jpg" the first forward slash was the problem. Thank you for the help it is greatly appreciated sorry for being such a dunce. :oops:
