database connection problem

I've been runing stable with no changes for a couple of weeks. I've tried searching but not getting a results page.

If you really haven't changed anything in a while, you'll want to contact your host (1and1)

The host name db286.perfora.net does not resolve, which is what PHP is complaining about. If you didn't change anything, obviously 1&1 did. They'll have to give you the new MySQL server address (name or IP), and you'll have to edit your config.php file to reflect the change.

I have a support ticket in with them right now to find out about that.
