I believe i have now uploaded the phpbb files in its zipped format.

reading the installation guide it said i could do this?

i went to www.soccernights.tld/phpBB2 and nothings there?

any clues where i have gone wrong?

unzip the files THEN upload them..........

Can I ask, did you READ the userguide or install instructions?

ok now have the webpage where i have to enter details of database name and passwords etc.

which do i select is my database... mssql server 7/2000 or the mssql[ODBC]

i selected mssql 7/2000 installed and got critical error

is this because i need to change the database server hostname from local host to fasthosts who are my hosts?

Im getting somewhere!!

www.soccernights.com/phpbb2 which is now up.. the pics aint working though something wrong there??

also now how do i configure it? to get the look i want etc?

As to the pictures, it looks like some of them did not get uploaded or the upload was corrupted, because some of them are there and others are not.

Using the FTP program, logon to your FTP server, and navigate to:

phpbb2>>templates>>subSilver>>images

Upload the images from your hard drive to that images folder using BINARY mode not auto or ASCII mode.

To modify your style:
