Hi, all. I admin a forum, here:

We have seven public forums there along with a number of private, members-only forums. I'm running phpBB 2.0.20, and have set up many of the anti-spambot measures lately and now and only getting maybe five per week, max.

The odd thing, though, is that the spam always appears only in the one public forum, titled "Server Stuff":

I've checked the permissions of this forum against our other public forums and they're all identical. Any ideas about why this one forum is the only one of the seven public forums that gets spammed? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

It's likely that one forum happens to come up highest in a search engine and that is how the bots are finding it. Try doing a search (on here) for spam and you should find a number of useful solutions to your problem.
