Check your forums and see if you have this user registered. I was cleaning out the spam/bot registrations, and this one looked legit at first. It had registerd with osemotelak@aol.com as the email address, was activated, there was no URL in the web page or signature fields and the user had replied to a post with the following:

Something seemed off though, the user had registered over a month ago and that was the only post. Out of curiosity I googled osemotelak and found pages and pages of this username on phpbb boards everywhere. Every board I found he/she/it had replied to a random post with the same thing.

It isn't spam since there is no URL, and that's all it does is post the three sentences above. I'm wondering if it's someone looking for a security hole or something.

it is just some script kiddie that has found a hacker script somewhere and used it on older boards. it won't work on newer boards.

anyway, if he was smart , he would have at aleast used the www link for search engine rankings.

update your board and put the normal security things in place and you shouldn't see that type of thing any more.
