Topic title/Postlink

Post by VPWanda »

Hi!
I'm using subsilver, but have modified all the colors and images through the styles admin management.
However, I really want different colors for the Topic Title links and the Postlink links. Through the styles admin I can only give them the same color 'Link Colour'.

I noticed that in the .css file there is a way to give them a different color a.topictitle:link and a.postlink:link etc.
However, these colors all seem to be overwritten by the styles admin management.

How can I have different colors for the title links and postlinks?

I would really appreciate some help with this, because I've tried for over an hour and am completely stuck.

We've had the same problem, and I have used a "brute force" solution until someone comes up with a more elegant solution in response to this topic. I couldn't find where the class "postlink" was defined - it's not in the CSS.

I simply put the relevant stylesheet in overall_header.html, like this:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
a.postlink:link { text-decoration: none; color: #0066CC; }
a.postlink:hover { text-decoration: underline; color: #0066CC; }
-->
</style>

and this appears as the last entry in the header, just above the </header> tag.
