Board User Registration Question

Hi when I signed up at message board using phpBB2 they had a 4 digit code you had to enter to register. Im trying to find this feature on my board which is the latest version but I cant find this anywhere and bots are starting to annoy me! I apologise if this is the wrong board to post on but please I need some Help!

ACP>General ADmin>Configuration>Visual Confirmation>Set to on

It's called visual confirmation.

Admin panel > configuration
Turn it on :)

I cant see that in my config section, even done a text search for it?

Enable Visual Confirmation
Requires users enter a code defined by an image when registering.

is what it says. maybe your using an old version of phpbb :)

You may be using a template which was written before VC was introduced.
