What's the problem? (By the way, it's probably not particularly safe to put that link here like that when you haven't installed yet.)

Now you need to make a database and fill in the boxes.

Problem is that i cannot install the forum i have created the DB but still not connecting
tell me what should i do..

check your using the correct details. database name, user and password

explain your problem

are you recieve error message ?

Check the config.php file.
All the details in that have to be correct (case sensitive too).
Then delete the install and contrib folders.

i am giving every thing perfect.. but the page keep on refreshing it self with all the detail no error or glich just not installing

If you've already created the dtatabse tables during the install you need to delete that install folder and the contrib one as well otherwise you'll just get stuck seeing the install page.

i am still having problem and the installing video is notworking fully it get stuck in the medial...

OK lets establish how far you've got.

You've made a database.
You've already filled in the install page?
It's gone through the whole install process?
Can you see a list of tables in your database?
Does your config.php file have anything in it?
If you remove the install and contrib folders from the server what do you see?

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database




getting error!!! i am putting the correct host and username and id even correct DB..

Does your config.php file have anything in it? nothingin it blank
