Is there anyway to setup a usergroup that can be able to moderate forums and ban users without giving that person access to the full admin panel? Maybe be able to make a special admin user level that only can use the User Control sub-panek in the admin panel.
Create a group called "Moderators" and in the ACP give that group moderator rights of the forum(s) you want them to moderate. Its that easy and you can add and remove members of that group at will.
I have set up a test user and made a usergroup that is the moderator of all forums, but I don't see where I can give the ability to ban an user, IP, and/or e-mail. Nor see where you can do the banning outside the admin panel. Am I just blind?
As a Moderator the can moderate forums Edit /delete posts. To ban that would require access to the admin panel or installation of one of the Jr. Admin type Mods
