When you upgrade to version 2.0.3 you have to gointo http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php and download the Changed Files Only package. Overwrite on the board with the files that it gives you. The run upgrade_to_203.php.

My paid had a hissy fit because I was just a tad late ;) - nah I could host on dialup more reliable than my host - anyways I dont have phpmyadmin installed, but the backup is about 30 megs, to much to copy chunks of!!! It would take weeks.. I dont have telnet access, Im running apache 1.3 <> mysql 3 <> and php4.

I too need phpBB-2.0.2 what irks me is that I am a packrat (and for some resons missed this version), and I need this version to continue the upgrades from phpBB-2.0.1 yes I know about how I am supposed to do it, but I think do to some mods, the upgrade is not working going from phpBB-2.0.1 ... and it looks like it is not around for download... soi I am unable to install and upgrade to phpBB-2.0.3 ....

no previous versions up for download any longer? it was only released a few weeks ago...

sigh**

Thank you for any help..

What happens when you try to restore? Where did you try to restore. Do you have PHPMy Admin?

From my own experience 3omb is just to big for the board to handle without a timeout.

You need phpmyadmin, even then you may need to upload it in chunks i'm afriad. :?
