Newest Registered User

Is there a way to stop the newest registered user from showing up before the account has beeen activated?

I was trying to stop porn site spam but even though I have set account registration to admin the newest registered user still shows up in the front page of my board and users can see the www porn site addy

if you want to hide the WWW button to all but the admin then you can use this.. http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=332479

Here is what I did in the includes/functions.php file (note user_posts addition) to stop spammers without posts from showing up:

// *** davehack - eliminate users without posts from newestuser
case 'newestuser':
$sql = "SELECT user_id, username
FROM " . USERS_TABLE . "
WHERE user_id <> " . ANONYMOUS . " and user_posts > 1 " . "
ORDER BY user_id DESC
LIMIT 1";
break;

This is the also part of the change that I did to the memberlist.php file to remove spammers without posts from showing up.
