Go to your "General Configuration" panel (Administration panel >General Admin > Configuration)
Under "Enable account activation" make sure you have selected either "user" or "admin" (and not "none") in addition to each your forums reflecting "registered" access (which you indicated you have already done).
Selecting User will allow anyone (spammers included) to register and post on your site with merely a workable email address. This is the way the spambots work... they access your register mechanism and create multiple user id's using multiple working email addresses. So, the best protection is to select "Admin."
However, I realize that you are saying something else. You are having guests do anonymous postings without registering at all (no usernames, just guest?). So, evidently your "account activation" mechanism is not working. I have actually seen this on some of the boards I manage and everytime I found a forum that was accidentally left open to guests. My first suggestion is that you try to post on each of your forums without signing in. That often will show you something that is open.
My second suggestion is to allow one of the pros here to have access to your site and wander around for a bit (work with someone who has established some long term credibility on this board). I think they will find the cause in a few minutes. I am assuming that you don't want to post your board url publicly.
I went to your site and was unable to post as a guest anywhere. My guess is that when you did your check of your forums in the admin panel that you succeeded in making sure that all the post privileges were for "registered." But, if you see another guest post, go check that forum for its setting for posting. If it is set correctly, post that information here again so someone (who is better qualified than I) can study it.
I suspect your inability may reside in the fact that after the issues you posed I went in and made the board readable only by registered users an made it so an admin had to activate a new account.
It might provide a headache in a few months when the pace picks up but for now a least it should cut down on the porn.
