i want to asks bout how to make in the main index then user/guest can see author,views?cos in my main index just forum,topics,post,last post?and how to make user title appear?cos i just tried in rank but it wont be appear Sad
and can i change the domain name?the old one with http://forums.cjb.net/index.php?mforum=cozyplace
can i change it like http://www.cozyplace.cjbnet

You're on a free forum host with no access to any of the files. You can't change anything on the site that isn't already there or is changeable in the admin panel.

but you could buy a domain (try looking on heartinternet.co.uk for prices) and have that domain redirect to your long link/url. something like cozyplace.net should do it. you dont need to buy hosting, just the domain.

phpBB will not work correctly with domain redirection, the domain needs to be true to the location of phpBB

a front page only redirect. all posting would still come from the longer url. cant see why that wouldnt work :?
