"no such post exist" when try to edit or delete po

Post by MapleShilc » Wed Jan 10, 2007 7:23 am

I have a phpbb forum, and i have some mods installed:
Global Announcement
Birthdays
Cash Mod
Super Quick Reply
RPG Plus
Attachment mod
Easy mod

www.physics.chounonamida.net/forum/

i installed them all correctly, and checked all sql files, but after i've done that, i went to post a test topic, and when i try to edit or delete it using the {postrow.EDIT_IMG} {postrow.DELETE_IMG}, it always say "There is no such post. Please return and try again.", i got another friend as admin and tried the samething, still doesnt work.

but when you use the moderate forum panel, it can delete posts...

anybody know what might be the problem?

This would indicate that the links being generated are for those parts of the template are not correct, which points back at one or more of the MOD edits.

A test account would be helpful.

It's very annoying when someone is bumping up his post to get support faster. Wait like other user do, phpBB support is very fast. It only takes some minutes to have your solution. But now I refuse to help you, sorry.

the fact is that its not some minutes, its hours and hours... i help everyone on the support forum as i can, but i did expect after a day that there will be some reply at least, but none... if you do not want to help, i wont beg you, it is your choice. But if someone does want to help i would be really happy and greatful, lets see if someone ignores your post for a long time and stuff is dying due to that fact...

I just tested and believe that you might have broken something inside of posting.php. Review all of the edits for the mods that you have installed for that file.

using any control-panel install/update is like shooting yourself in the foot. It won't kill you, but you're really going to hobble around until it heals.
Using the wrong tools (Front Page, DreamWeaver) gives the same results
