where do i do this at i got your acid tech style but where do i go about putting my team banner at the top?

you need to modify the file overall_header.tpl

to do this go to the following path:

(forum root folder)/templates/(template name)/overall_header.tpl

the file can be opened in notepad, dreamweaver etc...and you edit it that way.

You shouldn't use dreamweaver. It can really mess things up. Just use a simple text editor like notepad, wordpad or there's a very good free one called notepad++

I always go to the admin panel, then go to styles admin>>menu>>change logo>>> SKIN HERE>>> then either upload image from folder, or URL.

That's not a standard phpBB feature though. It tends to be on free forum hosted sites.
