Post by undoIT » Tue Jan 16, 2007 9:23 pm

Is there an RSS feed for phpBB related news? I don't seem to be able to find it.

Parser

Post by undoIT » Tue Jan 16, 2007 9:30 pm

Okay. I tried importing the feed. URLs are not being converted properly and appear in BBCode. Do you know what parser is used for the phpBB feed?

I get that problem too, I think they messed up their feed. I just click the announcement title and read the original post.

Netscape screwed up a lot of RSS feeds, by blowing away an important XML file a few days ago. Made the news, if you know where to look.

In any case, RSS is not part of standard PHPBB, so you need to ask support questions for the RSS MOD where you got the MOD from.

He's talking about phpBB's RSS feed, the question has nothing to do with his own forum. He wanted to read phpBB's latest news via their feed that sends out bbcode in the messages.
