Be sure the images for the gallery are in subfolders of /images/avatar/gallery

For example:

/images/avatars/gallery/cars/car1.jpg
/images/avatars/gallery/dogs/dog1.jpg
etc

Your images must be in sub-directories of the avatar directory.

Ex:

avatars/cats/
avatars/dogs/

What do you mean for your personal avatars? What is your gallery path listed in your admin panel?

The gallery images should be in:
images/avatars/gallery/Rceras/ :)

So in your admin panel it says images/avatars/Rceras ?

Then your avatars have to be in subdirectories of that:

images/avatars/Rceras/cats/
images/avatars/Rceras/dogs/
etc.

Once again your avatar images must be in subdirectories of images/avatars/Rceras/

Ex:
images/avatars/Rceras/cars/car1.gif
images/avatars/Rceras/dogs/dog1.gif
