html in posts?

Post by SJ MAC »

Im having getting html to show in my post and Im not sure why. Ive set html to 'on' in both my profile and board configuration but when i tried to post this <a href="http://www.arsenalarsenalarsenal.com/forum/faq.php">FAQ page</a> (a link to my FAQ page) I cant get it to work only the code shows. How can I get it to show up as a link?

We would recommend only turning on HTML for your admin to use. You also have to add the appropriate tags in your config in the admin

Could you tell me the reason for this, I'm curious to know now.

Thanks.

Enabling the ability to post HTML for others than those you trust can open your board up to many security risks. Do a search and you will find many topics on this issue
