In that case you only need the "changed files".
Upload them to your server, overwriting the old copies, then run install/update_to_latest.php and you're done.

Up the top of every page here, there is a big button labelled "Downloads".
You need to download "phpBB 2.0.22 [ Changed Files Only ]", unzip it, then upload the files to your web server.

There is a big topic at the top of this forum called "readme before posting" which has links to descriptions all these common tasks.

Right! Time to stop using the word 'things'

Just tell us what you are wanting to do and we can tell you how to do it...

This is not Instant messaging so feel free to use whole words and sentences - you might even want to stretch to some punctuation. That way we will know what you mean and can give advise accordingly.

I doubt you can do much about your forums as it is hosted freely on informe.com

Take a note, informe com doesnt have anything to do with phpbb.com and never has been.
If you need something to be installed or an upgrade you need to talk to them.
Not us. :)

There is even a rule about it
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/rules.php#rule4a
It says no support for third party versions of phpBB

The downloads on this site are meant to thoise who are in control of their boards. ie, have FTP access to the foruym files and can do codechanges on them.
Some even needs an access to the database and be able to run queries there.

Good luck...

ok - lets try that sentense thing ! lol

After you click on a thread and before you reply - sometimes on other forums they have a "quick-reply" feature, i would like that if possible.

The site is running smoothly and i just wanted to know what are in the downloads, i see so many advertised download this download that - what is the need to download things ?

You are not listening. There is no point in downloading anything, because your host, informe.com, will not let you upload anything, which would be necessary to change anything on your board.

For all questions related to features that may or may not be available, you need to contact your host, www.informe.com.
