spam in my own replies

Post by veekes » Sat Mar 10, 2007 12:36 pm

I'm sorry if it was already featured here but i didn't seem to find anything.

My problem is that every time I post a reply, my message seemed to been added with screensaver spam. Is there any way to solve this? it's quite shamefull as an adminstrator to be posting spam.

On the off-chance that this isn't spam...

You need to run an up-to-date virus and malware scan on your computer.

I just removed that screensaver link from your post, just to be on the safe side ;-)

My personal preference is for AVG Free for virus scans, Ad-Aware and SpyBot Search and Destroy but there are many other programs out there that can do the same job.

Never rely on just one piece of software always use a combination and make sure that you have an active firewall on top if the viurs/malware protection too.

If you have ben infected and you share files between work and home then you may have spread whatever you have.

Anyway, this is not phpBB support any more..

Good luck!
