If you undo the mod changes in the phpbb files, this key will just be ignored. No need to remove it. But if you wish to, you can do so in phpMyAdmin.

So what is your advide, stevemaury?

Do I need to undo the mod changes in the phpbb files and change in myphpadmin (please show me how in details) or just leave they all there and use YES in forum ACP?

I afraid that it will make my board slower when I add more modifications.

Thanks,

ok, got it figured out...

1) log into phpmyadmin
2) select your phpbb database
3) click on the "phpbb_config" and click "Browse"
4) *NOTE* mine is on page 3, so click the page dropdown button and select the correct page... look for "email_enabled" and click the "Edit" button
5) place a 1 where the 0 is and click "Go" to save it

AOCpzck,

It is 1, so you meant put 0 instead?
