while i am installing the phpbb2 this error affaired.. and
i can not go on..?
why ?
can anybody help me ?

I've got a problem like it.
It says:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

So, what's wrong???

same error here! it is probably lycos.

phpBB: Critical Error

Cannot connect to database.

i tryed every possible solution. i went to the turtorial. punched in all of the information and get that error.
