AdSense Site Authentication - how to make it work?

Post by deadjdona »

Hi.

As someone noticed, there's a new feature in Google AdSense - site authentication.
It allow goodle adbot to access pages that restricted to registered users only.

So what's the question? I can not put this at work =(

https://www.google.com/adsense/list-auth
Here you can add next parameters

Restricted Directory or URL:
http://www.natali.ua/forums
Authentication URL:
http://www.natali.ua/forums/login.php
Authentication method:
POST
Parameters: Attribute Value
username = googlebot
password = ******

But when I press Test My Authentication URL - it shows me just login page.

Does anybody try this? And does it works?
What's wrong with me?

I'm sorry but you'd need to ask Google for help since we don't support third party apps. Good luck! :)

I don't ask 4 support.

I don't ask for support, I want to hear from somebody that solve this problem.
Or maybe just try to make it work.

If I do this, I'll post. If someone got it to work, let it post. )

As per pentapenguin we do not support third party software and as such you will have to seek support from the third party applications support site. On this forum we only support vanilla phpBB installs and as such I am going to close this topic :)
