Small Problem!!

Hey there guys!! :)
I was just wondering if you could help me out with this tiny problem that i get after i PM someone!
The PM goes threw fine but get this awfull message, confusing members!

It looks like you are using SMTP for emails, and entered a username and password, but your SMTP server doesn't want them.
Try setting them to blank.
The Knowledge Base contains solutions to many common problems!
How to fix "Doesn't have a default value" and "Incorrect string value: xxx for column 'post_text' " errors.
How to do a clean re-install of the latest phpBB3 version.
Problems with permissions? Read phpBB3 Permissions

Yer lol im a noob to all this! i was just wondering what is a SMTP server???

SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transport Protocol.
Is your forum now sending emails ok?
If not, try setting "Use SMTP" to "No".
The Knowledge Base contains solutions to many common problems!

Oh it sends them ok but i still keep getting the message!
And how do you set the "Use SMTP" to "no"???

It is in your admin panel, under "General Admin", "Configuration".

The full text of the option is:
Use SMTP Server for email
Say yes if you want or have to send email via a named server instead of the local mail function
The Knowledge Base contains solutions to many common problems!
